Held on May, the training aimed to present the Audit Protocol, align the understandings and answer the questions of the representatives of audit and assessment firms.
To increase the participation and involvement of meatpackers in this process, a series of Workshops were held from October to December 2021, under the scope of the Beef on Track Program, to offer training in relation to the Audit Protocol for the Monitoring of Cattle Suppliers in the Amazon.
The purpose of this report is to make this process more transparent and to analyse the main findings of the Workshops. The Guide for Retailers is the first product developed by the Beef on Track team to deal with this issue and our hope is that its contents will encourage companies to make a concerted effort towards eliminating environmental and social irregularities throughout the chain.
Report on webinar of the Beef on Track Program aimed at companies and other players in the beef chain in the Argentine Chaco region, who can benefit and be inspired by the establishment of a monitoring, reporting and verification system.
The document presents the consolidation of the content on the Monitoring Protocol, and the suggestions collected during the webinar promoted in May 2020 for geomonitoring companies that attend meatpackers that operate in the Amazon.
